    Damn rabbit holes.

Tuffy came close to hitting homers in 3 straight games:

October 1, 1993 -- homers off Mark Davis
October 3, 1993 -- homers off Mark Davis

After hitting 3 homers off Gooden on Opening Day '94 ...

-- Tuffy didn't hit another homer for 15 days (off Dave Nied)
-- Tuffy didn't hit another homer for 4 days, but hit Nos. 5 & 6 off Darryl Kile
-- Tuffy didn't hit another homer for 14 days (off Mark Gardner)
-- Tuffy didn't hit another homer for 2 months (off Mike Munoz)

Tuffy Rhodes didn't hit another homer over his final 67 plate appearances spanning into 1995.

David Arias wouldn't have been as good as David Orteeeez. There was that guy who lied about his name and age to get signed and was caught when he had to get a new visa or something.

Joey-Albert Belle just murdered a cat. And Mike-Giancarlo Stanton just whiffed again.

Yeah we had some flakes here, about 2 hours south. The forecast for Boston shows improvement but cold, of course.

Did I notice yesterday that the Cubs home game was snowed out and the White Sox home game wasn't?
Maybe that is why Dickie is so confused today.

I was gonna post this yesterday, but got busy. If you have to write the second column, you shouldn't have written the first column.

"When walking the streets of Orange County with his mother, babies stop to admire him."

They'd have a different opinion if he was driving the streets of Orange County.

Big difference between changing your first name and your last name.

Albert Jojuan Belle is his given name, so Joey was always a nickname.

Stanton's given name is Giancarlo Cruz Michael, according to Wikipedia.

I wonder if we're going to find out Felipe Rivero/Vazquez isn't even 26-year-old Felipe Vazquez, but 30-year-old Humberto Vazquez , or something like that.
