Maybe Shin attacks AJ and Daniel with some new partner? But who? Do they pull Itami off 205?

Would seem underwhelming to just have one new debut with the Iconic Duo (not counting Paige).

Bryan vs. Nak vs. AJ at Backlash? We cannot be so lucky.

They better not be turning Becky. Only a true heel would like quinoa.

Mmm, quinoa is delicious though. That and kale just get a bad rap.

Also, fun note for the Andre doc as mentioned on the podcast - There is a wrestler interviewed who has an oil painting, of himself, hanging in house. And he's wearing the same outfit in the painting as he's wearing in the interview. See if you can spot who it is.
    Pat Patterson.
Also, Mean Gene got sweet digs.

The great thing about that is there's about 100 people there. All of whom got to see two future WWE champions who've main-evented PPVs. And probably none of them would have suspected at that time what they would get to witness in the future.

I was looking at this really good Hulk Hogan website, which has the listings for most, if not all of his matches. When he was first starting, in the late 70s, he wore a mask as one of many Super Destroyers, and got to work with Andre in one or two matches in Florida. I wonder how many fans there were there, and wonder how many of them would even put 2+2 together and notice that 8 or 9 years later, they were drawing 70K plus to the Silverdome.

I watched it live last night - Pretty good, but also aimed at a general audience vs. diehard wrestling fans. Like, they cover his entire life and the movie culminates with the Wrestlemania 3 feud. (As they said on the pod with the director, they weren't really interested in breaking down his feud with Jake the Snake, for example.) It was interesting stuff, but I'd say it's more in the B- to B+ range.

Lots of good archive stuff, but the most interesting bit of film to me:
They get Vince to sit for an interview. They asked him when the last time he actually spoke to Andre was, and he says he can't remember. He seems genuinely choked up about it. It was a really rare and interesting look at him, like, you could feel the macho facade he normally has lowered.
