8th? Wonder why so low in the lineup, the guy has been crushing it. Are they trying to limit his ABs at particular points? Is he throwing tomorrow?

Nice toss of the mitt and runaway by the pitcher.

Tigers pitcher Jordan Zimmermann was just nailed in the face with a line drive that hit so hard it bounced all the way to Miguel Cabrera in the air, who caught it.

EDIT: I believe it bounced to Cabrera on the ground. No one on Twitter seems to be able to write what happened, and the sports sites differ on the play-by-play. Zimmerman walked off the field.

The pitch with Perdomo's mitt was also high and inside.

(Unfortunately since I'm a Mets fan but) nothing going on in Miami through five.

Takes an inside fastball the other way in his first at-bat for a 2-out, RBI single.

Struck-out looking in his next at-bat. To AAA he goes!
