What are you drinking right now?

This might not be the proper thread, but margarita drinkers and gin/vodka tonic drinkers can expect to pay more this year. Price of limes is through the roof, due to a poor harvest in Mexico and the drug cartels moving into the more lucrative, well more stable anyway, lime business. Honest. They already have avocados.

 

I had two beers and an Oban on the rocks last night, and I'm just wiped out today. I had a rough night, but I think that's mostly from coming home and eating things that give me trouble (red pasta sauce and chocolate). I *slept* on the couch.

 

Oh my, such bad beer.

 

I have never heard anyone object to the taste of coconut water before.

 

I had it once and it was awful. It tasted like used dishwater.

Daughter W’s Bat Mitzvah is in 3 weeks, so Mrs. W and I are spending the night doing table assignments and navigating the various family grudges. Decanting a bottle of Jordan Cab (her favorite) for the struggle.

 

Good Good, a double IPA from Sole Artisan Ales in Easton PA. It is good.

I drink gin and tonics, but not with lime. The wife loves margaritas, though, with fresh lime juice.

 

Cosmic Charlie, a good IPA by Brix City Brewing. Not too juicy, but like the Denali and El Dorado hops.
