On a rate basis, minimum 20 at bats, Ohtani leads the major leagues in overall offense.

 

That’s no indication he is ready to hit today, son.

 

It was the fifth fastest triple in the major leagues this season.

Spectacular.

 

If the bases were empty when Ohtani hit that triple, he would have zero RBI tonight.

To be fair, I found two long-time baseball experts who agreed with the Ohtani assessments of the eight scouts, Passan, and Bloom.

Passan did not issue an opinion with which to agree or disagree.

 

I'm sure he vehemently disagreed with the opinion, yet wrote it anyway. Man, you really will grasp at any angle to defend yourself on this one, won't you?
