    Why?

    .350 wOBA and 70 RBIs.

    .300 wOBA and 110 RBIs.

    Which do you sign?

    22 players had 100+ RBIs last season. A guy who had 110 last year would have ranked 3rd in the AL and 5th in the NL.

    There is great value in hitters who can score runners with their bats.

    Doubles are better than walks.

    Obviously Pujols because he has had more RBIs than Trout for three years now.

    But walks are part of the core in the wOBA formula.

    A low-wOBA guy who doesn't walk a lot just doubled home a high-wOBA guy who does.
