I’m confused.

I responded by saying Happ is 5 for his last 9 but didn't actually say Happ so you thought I might be talking about Ohtani.

Hence, I conflated both of them by saying Happtani ... in an attempt at humor ... that lacked ... humor.

So, since before the season began I've said Happ is going to have a monster year.

He has failed to live up to Songbirdian hype and has a paltry .295 OBP.

(And his wOBA is .323!)

But, Happ has 5 hits in his last 9 at bats.

I think Happ is pulling out of the slump.

And oop still thinks you're wrong.

 

Is it possible to like the general thread and much of the content, but dislike some of the back-and-forth repetitiveness of some of the infighting?
Or to be just plain wishy-washy?

Too early to start talking about the Red Sox as a threat to the Mariners’ 116 win record? Of course. But they are hitting on all cylinders. Adding Martinez to that lineup was huge.

Not running at all. The evidence of my point is all over this thread. Dickie's entire argument is that Passan's initial report hasn't been proven "spectacularly wrong." That is a defense.

Now show us the consistency. Where is his complaint about the scouts using a sample size that was too small?

 

I was actually just having a little fun with your love for Happ because I noticed he is off to a slow start.

Dickie is making a show of hiding behind the button to make it easier for him to run away from losing yet another argument.
