Yep, which means that Henry put some pretty good distance between himself and the Hilltop, since the creek where Sophia hid is in Georgia. LOL

Again, a very cool Easter Egg, but another prime example of inconsistencies in the story.

Was anybody actually surprised by the "twist" that turned the battle? I thought the telegraphed it, especially last week.

Pretty predictable finale, although I was surprised there weren't ANY casualties. Wonder if they'll go through with the Rick & Michonne vs. the World story or if Maggie and, for whatever reason, Jesus and Daryl get over it.

Shouldn't this episode of 'Fear' been just called a show called "How Morgan joined Fear TWD"?

It seemed odd for Jesus to be in on that. They clearly set it up with Maggie and Daryl, but it seems a bit out of character for Jesus.

Honestly, this would have been a good series finale. Just cut it after Rick gives his speech about starting over. Would have been a good way to end the show on a decent note after what has been a serious downwards spiral.

Instead, the viewers will be subjected to a Rick/Michonne vs. Maggie/Daryl mixed gender tag match with Jesus as the special guest referee.

I was wondering this morning if this is a good jumping off point for viewers. The Negan story has been somewhat wrapped up (until he escapes in Season 46 or whatever) and everyone survived and had a happy ending. This is no longer a story about Rick and Carl, and do I care enough about whatever drama they're able to conjure up?

I also am not even mildly intrigued by Rick's crew v. Maggie's crew. I also really disliked the way it was presented, withn the splintering coming so quickly after this broad declaration of peace. One discontented look between Maggie and Daryl would have been more effective than that explicit plotting scene with the inexplicable inclusion of Jesus.

Really the only curiosity that remains for me in this series is, what's the deal with the helicopters?

Perhaps the helos come from the Commonwealth.

Well, I'm out. I said I would stick through this season because I wanted to see how it would play out, but like you said, this is a good jumping off point for me. As far as I'm concerned, the story is over.

That said, I will probably watch it when it returns next fall, but I won't watch it every Sunday like I do now. I may wait a couple of weeks and binge it on AMC. Because like clint said, I need to know where the helicopters are. And also if HRC ever got some primo albums from someone, non spoken word, of course.

It would make sense to jump ahead in the storyline. They have to know the show is on the decline, right?
