Five-inning Jake about to go downhill from here on out against the amazing Pirates.

Not quite, but it’s not as bad as I thought. It was 14th in Park Factor for HRs last season. Pretty neutral, really.

Of course not. He's got an ERA below 1.00 right now. But he's got as much upside as anybody the Pirates have and he's a far safer bet than Taillon and Williams, their top two pitchers right now. As it is, the Pirates will have to hope those two hold up and maybe they get a boost from Keller later this season.

    It’s coming soon, I’m sure.

Five-inning Jake, where have you gone?

If it was against the Marlins, it would be understandable, however, he’s facing the World Series contenders, Pittsburgh Pirates.

Sounds like Arrieta was lights out last night. How about Ohtani?

Too small of a sample size to be relevant. Maybe that's why you missed it.

Dick's worst nightmare realized: Buccos are slipping BECAUSE 6-inning Jake went 7 scoreless!

Then he woke up from and drank a tall glass of reality OJ: Ohtani went 0 for 4 with 3 strikeouts.

There's probably some kind of quantian equation for that.
