I'm looking forward to the Browns taking Josh Allen first overall. It's too perfect.

And next year, the Browns will take a QB with the first overall pick.

I’d take Jackson over any QB in the draft, particularly factoring in where they’re projected. He’s a better passer than people give him credit for.

    My rankings:
    1. Jackson
    2. Rosen
    3. Darnold
    4. Mayfield
    5. Allen

That's probably exactly how I'd order them. The tricky one for me is Rosen -- he may be the best of the group, but the concussion history would scare me.

I don't think Mayfield goes first round.

Josh Allen is Kurt Benkert with better PR. He can throw the ball through a steel door and has no other discernible football skills.

He’ll certainly go in the first round. Probably top 4. I think he’s Manziel II, but some team will reach in the first hour.

    Which is beyond dumb.

Well, it’s the draft and QBs. Stupid decisions are a given.

It's always remarkable to me the way scouts and GMs can fixate on things like size, arm strength, the 40 time... and seemingly ignore on-field performance, which should be just about the only thing that matters.

When faced with moderately decent DI competition, Allen was terrible.

He looks like a QB, though.

    How's his jaw structure?

The flip side of that is Mayfield, whose production was inflated by a great college scheme.

The annual QB lottery has made the top defensive player in the draft almost an afterthought. If Giants don’t take Chubb, I wonder how far he’ll drop.
