If Indiana is such a stickler for inspections, then they should probably inspect the other facilities, too.

    Planned Parenthood Challenges Indiana's 2018 Anti-Abortion Law

But Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky and the ACLU of Indiana argue the complication reports are unconstitutionally vague. For instance, one provision requires reporting of “any adverse physical or psychological condition arising from the induction or performance of an abortion.” The suit filed in federal court Monday calls that “so broad as to be meaningless.”
And the lawsuit says some of the complications listed in the law aren’t associated with abortions – or, in the case of blood clots, one of the lengthy list in the measure, considered a side effect but not a complication of the procedures.

And the suit challenges the yearly inspection mandate because it says no other health care facilities in the state face such a requirement.

    My defense of Bono:

Bono is preachy, but not in a partisan way. He has causes. You go to a U2 show, you know going in you're going to get a lecture about poverty.

Hey, if legal abortion saves just one woman's life ...

I appreciate that you don't consider poverty a partisan issue.

Bono's name was used as part of the satire.

A killing machine doesn't need meaningless regulations.

I think it's probably pretty hard to break out meaningful numbers for or from something like this. Are we only counting deaths? How about emergency room visits? Are women in Mississippi traveling to Alabama or Georgia or Louisiana or Arkansas instead? Are women in California generally healthier?

This is also one of those things that defies good reporting. So much stigma attached to it.

I think the back-alley death argument was more true before the Abortion Act of 1967 and then Roe v Wade. Some of which has to do with making abortion legal, of course, but some has to do with much better emergency medicine generally, and the ready availability of antibiotics, etc.
