He'd be similar age as my late great grandfather, who didn't become a hardcore Democrat until FDR. Might be too much to assume he never switched parties.

 

Today's tally:
1) The VA chief nominee is under scrutiny for past actions of unspecified nature and extent.
2) The newly minted national security advisor was, until last month, a leader in an organization that spews religious bigotry.
3) The remarkably conflicted EPA chief has so many issues that the White House has asked lapdogs in Congress to chill in their statements of defense.

 

What's that have to do with Reid's comments being scrubbed. It must suck to go through life with the same three thoughts.

 

In York, Pa. today, a golf club apologized for calling the cops on a group of black women MEMBERS of the club whom other golfers said were playing too slowly. But white racism doesn't exist or if it does is a minor factor in American life.

 

Just interesting that the tribe that claims everything against Lord God Trump is a witch hunt -- despite the guilty pleas from multiple associates -- is convinced that this Joy Reid allegation is real. If it is real, she must go. And she will be gone. Hannity and Coulter, meanwhile, live in a world with no consequences because their fan base loves it. That's the difference.

 

Three thoughts are better than one. Particularly when the one thought is the necessity of protecting an unqualified, lazy, bigot in the White House simply because he is a member of the tribe.
