That was one of my favorite lines. I didn't love that character, and I am sure they didn't say "shit the bed" in the 60s, but that was awesome.

It's too early to tell if his shirt is worth that much.

Nats went 10-14 from June 7 to July 1 last year.

    Should have traded Harper then.

OK but that wasn't the question.

If they go 10-14 in April, 10-14 in May, and 10-14 in June, should they consider a Harper trade in July?

If they trade Harper, where will all their Natitude come from?

I think he typically takes July off.

You think the Cubs will put a halt to that bullshit when he's roaming right field in Wrigley next year?

    Yep.

I, too, watched the game and the number of low-strike pitches that this Joe West wannabe called a ball definitely impacted the stats line. Good on Maldonado for chirping about it, tho.

The stupid Cubs and their stupid fans can pound sand.

    What was the question again?

How the hell did he hit 150 homer runs before turning 25? Only 15 players in baseball history have done that (Mike Trout did it too)

I think Bryce Harper's path to the majors is still overlooked or not fully appreciated. I am in awe that he thought of it and lived up to the expectations every time of think of it. Getting a GED as a sophomore to attend a JUCO playing in a wood bat league just to get drafted a year early. Wow. That's some other world combination of talent and balls.
