They're supposedly putting up Roger Staubach and other Cowboys greats up there with Goodell so the fans don't boo.

Really pathetic, but then again, this is a league that has gotten paid to be patriotic.

It's easy to make the Manziel/Mayfield comparisons based on their antics outside of the game and their similar sizes. I think the difference is that Mayfield worked hard to get where he is -- twice a walk-on and became the starting quarterback and a hugely successful winner both times. Manziel just showed up and was better than everyone, and was helped out by future NFL All-Pro Mike Evans' ability to jump up and grab the ball when Manziel threw it up deep.

Mayfield's height is a concern, moreso than his douchebaggary. I believe he wants the role as star QB and will work for it. Hopefully he can wise up and clean up the rest of his act. I think that's easier than taking someone with lesser talent and trying to make him better.

Wow, I wasn't aware that the next Republican National Convention was being held in Dallas.

Anthony McFarlane said he doesn’t think Mayfield will pan out. Mayfield said he doesn’t care what draft experts think because they never played the game.

I’m always skeptical of short QB’s. There’s a reason Bree’s and Wilson are special. They are outliers.

Nick Saban just got booed loudly when he was introduced. They showed a close up of him on the video board and he was laughing his ass off.

Tuned in. It's so funny how they have manufactured this thing to be almost as big as the Super Bowl. It's too much.

I have never understood why anyone would watch the NFL draft on TV.

See, I think the opposite. I don't understand why fans attend the draft. It just seems like 9 1/2 minutes of boredom with a half minute of excitement when the pick is made.

At least at home, you can do other things while the pundits analyze the picks.

    I'm with you -- I wouldn't be here if I wasn't getting paid.

But I can see why it would be cool to do for someone who's a diehard fan of a team.
