Having some folks over for brunch and mimosas to celebrate?

 

Across this great land of ours last night, hundreds, maybe thousands of semi-influential citizens were taken in hand by police for being drunk and disorderly and gently escorted home with no report filed at all. The Secret Service are cops, cops with their own pretty good record of unrecorded drunken incidents.

 

I know nothing about the case. I have zero emotional investment. I posted nothing about it. As pointed out here, thousands of kids die every day. Do you track of follow or have emotional investment in 5,000 kids dying today? Yesterday? Tomorrow? No.

 

This is a great point for me. Never mind Pruitt's obvious chisels. He's not doing a single thing to protect the environment, and in fact is actively seeking to harm it. Not only is he scandal plagued. He's not doing the fucking job.

 

You need to actually follow the story.

The Secret Service didn't just say that there was no record of the incident. They interviewed the agents who could have possibly witnessed some event. It didn't happen.

 

Stalin seems positively tender-hearted in comparison to you. At least he pretended to believe a single death to be a tragedy.

 

If only sanctimony were a fuel.

 

Well, if they didn't file a report after taking Jackson in hand, of course they said it didn't happen. Otherwise, they're the ones in trouble. This is an alternate scenario. I have no idea what the facts are. But Jackson himself should be the last person on earth who wants this matter to continue to be dredged up, as this was far from the only charge leveled against him, and some (distributing pills without a scrip, for instance) have indeed been confirmed. Trump's just mad because he has no one to blame for this episode but himself and his slipshod (to be kind) management style.

 

Does anyone actually think he was a good person to run the VA?
