Didn't Gerrit Cole give up three runs in 6 2/3 yesterday? That's pretty good, he got a quality start out of it, but not sure why it's worth two pages on a message board. A lot of guys had quality starts yestereday.

 

We need to revisit @93Devil’s suggestion that we have a separate stat for super duper starts.

 

I'm sure you can figure it out if you try.

Damn, even as a Giants fan, hate to see this. He's fun to watch and I feared him at bat more than anyone else in lineup except for Justin Turner (wish he was a Giant).

 

Dodgers may not even make the wildcard game now. They are very weak at shortstop behind Seager. Kike Hernandez is a really good utility guy, but I don't see him as an everyday SS.

j/k but I have definitely noticed a new emphasis on doing that in all media.

 

I think they're still more likely a playoff team than not, but it's a lot less penciled in than it was before this.

 

Last year I posted Kike! on Facebook after his big NLCS game versus the Cubs and was called out by a couple friends.
