Some shows - like Westworld - I think benefit from binging. Not sure I would have kept up with Westworld watching it week to week.

Yes she did, if they mentioned him, I have missed it. Also Roseanne had one, did they say something about him being out on a boat? I also thought Estelle Parsons had died, I don't know why. Glad to see they brought her back.

My wife asked that Tuesday night as we were watching. You're exactly right; she did.

Oh, and by the way ... Dan is dead. :)

They mentioned the last Connor kid, Jerry or something, and I thought it was nuanced that he was deployed overseas.

Estelle Parsons looks exactly the same as she did 20 years ago.

The oldest Darlene kid is seriously miscast. I understand she has big grandparents, but no way did a kid that big spring from Darlene's loins. David is a little thing, too.

I don't like what they'r'e doing to Becky.

Anybody watch Blackish? I love the show, I think it's funny as hell.

The last two episodes have been about the marriage of Bow and Dre falling apart. Not funny.

The fight like real couples do - not yelling and screaming like most tv couple fights.

These are full of passive aggressive jabs, and remembering past slights.

    Very dark stuff.

Man, if I was a regular watcher of that before, I would have actively avoided those episodes. Just watching the commercials made me uncomfortable.

And the former best friend? Man, that was the weakest sauce yet. You'd think a gazillionaire Elon Musk type would have the resources to outsource his skullduggery.

If any of you enjoy "Nordic Noir" or the various BBC procedurals set in isolated locales - check out Fallett on Netflix.

Watched that a couple of weeks ago. It was extra fun because I can now understand a lot of Swedish. There are all kinds of references to scenes from The Bridge in there too.

  10. Started Westworld this week... Kind of weird seeing one the McPoyles (It's Always Sunny) on there.

Caught up with Barry - holy shit, what a strange, odd and interesting show. I think the next episode is the season finale, and I'm hyped.
