    On a somewhat related tangent ... I was in LA last November and got off the freeway to drive thru Skid Row.

    I grew up down the road and always heard about it or watched it on the news. For whatever reason I decided to see it in the flesh.

    You can't imagine how bad it is till you're there.

    I lived in Kingston Jamaica for 6 months and saw some awful 3rd-world living conditions, and Skid Row is probably worse.

    The most disturbing part of this story is you eating a 7-11 hot dog.

    Any different than eating an Alsup's corn dog or chimichanga? (Or hundreds of them?)

    With mustard? Chili? Cheese sauce? Onions? Relish?

    There are probably 1,000 things better on a hot dog than ketchup.

    The only reason to put anything on a hot dog is to ease it into the trash can a bit faster.
