On a somewhat related tangent ... I was in LA last November and got off the freeway to drive thru Skid Row.

I grew up down the road and always heard about it or watched it on the news. For whatever reason I decided to see it in the flesh.

You can't imagine how bad it is till you're there.

I lived in Kingston Jamaica for 6 months and saw some awful 3rd-world living conditions, and Skid Row is probably worse.

 

The most disturbing part of this story is you eating a 7-11 hot dog.

 

Any different than eating an Alsup's corn dog or chimichanga? (Or hundreds of them?)

 

Let's find out if he put ketchup on it before we judge.

 

How else would you mask the nasty taste of a hot dog?

 

With mustard? Chili? Cheese sauce? Onions? Relish?

There are probably 1,000 things better on a hot dog than ketchup.

 

Mustard. Onions. Sliced Dill Pickles.

 

Approve.

 

Mustard and onions, yes. Save the pickles for the side.

 

The only reason to put anything on a hot dog is to ease it into the trash can a bit faster.
