You are a surefire Hall of Famer. What kind of idiot do you have to be to throw that away on a positive drug test?

Maybe you're a surefire Hall of Famer because of the drugs. Can't stop now, right?

I’m still withholding judgment until there is some word about whether the collector is an anti-Semite.

Wow...that was a lot of build up to not much of anything.

Regarding the actual meat of the discussion, even you understand what the positive test does. Maybe his time on the ballot is far enough away that things will change by then, but if the voters treat PED users the same way then as they do now, he's not getting in.

And yes, I get that the positive test that has been made public is for the masking agent, not the PED, but do you really think that argument will sway the voters who refuse to let in Bonds and Clemens?

Aside from 2011, he's been a slightly above average player. Not sure how the two seasons after '11 convinced Cashman to give him that contract.
He's pretty much the same player as Gardner.

Braves got hosed on consecutive calls, one at home (despite a replay challenge) and one at 3B.

He was overcompensating for letting Cano go.
