    My bold prediction:

Renee kills Stan to protect Phillip and Elizabeth before this is done.

Just remember what a bizarro ending Season 2 turned out to be. I don't think too many people had "kid whose parents were killed actually killed them" as one of the possibilities.

Are the reviewers sharing notes or something?

I've read exactly two reviews of "Harvest" so far, and both used a "Chekhov's Gun" reference to the suicide pill and its implications.

Well, about the only reason people wouldn't use that reference is it's too obvious.

We're going to get a scene with Philip, Stan and Oleg, aren't we? (OK, this is me more hoping than asking. That would be phenomenal.)

I was gonna say it would be pretty easy for Oleg to defect now, except he has a wife and kid back in Moscow.

Stan was a lot more suspicious than I expected. I like it. The snooping was a great call back to season 1.

Do we think he’s allayed because he didnt find anything? That was very difficult to read for me

Claudia should have called Elizabeth a pussy loser.

Lots of speculation that Elizabeth dies next week, with the title of the episode reading like an obituary.

I was flipping through the first few pages of this thread and stumbled on this:

I hold Rick Stain responsible for last season's 15-minute digging scene and, well, last season in general.

Finally caught this week's episode. I was struck by how Elizabeth quickly turned to Philip's side (relatively speaking). Her not killing the intern who discovered the bug was a big thing for her.

I'm wondering if Claudia is setting Elizabeth up to discover if she is loyal still and if there is someone within the government trying to undermine what she (Claudia) is attempting to accomplish. I guess this is something that there might not be enough time to really get to, but it did strike me.

It does seem like a quick turn for Elizabeth, who in fact has always followed orders blindly.

We're to assume Phillips not human comment cut her to the bones, I suppose.

Stans a lot more suspicious than was let on. That could've used some more seeding, more reason behind him not being able to let it go

It also reads like an arrest warrant.

Saw an interesting idea in the comments section on Sepinwall's blog: The Jenningses obviously get arrested, killed or otherwise taken out of the mix, but Renee is revealed to be a spy and the show ends with her starting her job at the FBI. The institution keeps on humming along, Wire-style.

Elizabeth's whole mission this season seemed off-kilter. She's been plotting against her own government because . . . the KGB and military wanted Gorby gone and simply convinced her that he and his group were "traitors."*** How can you not question that kind of directive?

*** Of course, many Russians today do consider Gorby a traitor. And a coup likely would have preserved the USSR (which 75 percent of Russians supported). So at the end of the day, Claudia is the only real Russian patriot left. Sigh.
