Driving slowly in the passing lane isn't illegal (in most states) either. But It will sure piss off the folks behind you.

This. Just because it's not illegal doesn't mean it isn't shitty. We have a highway here to cottage country that, because it's two lanes, is an 80 km/h zone. But it's a highway through country. Most people go 100, and the cops won't pull you over. It's not illegal to go 70 on it. But holy fuck, does someone driving 70 make for a dangerous situation.

 

If you feel you're in the right why would you care if someone honks at you? People seem to make everything personal and this is what often leads to road rage, etc. So what if they honk??
