    It gives Goodell more power to be judge an jury. It's bullshit.

    This should be collectively bargained.

    I think it's a cap violation if he does that. Not positive, but I think so.

    New Jersey is one of two states that have a Worker Freedom from Intimidation law. Employers can't compel or coerce participation in "political matters." Oregon is the other.

    So it wasn't unanimous, and at least one franchise feels legally obligated to support its players. This is in hour three of this rule.

    Could the NFL be any dumber?

    They've just given everyone three-and-a-half months to talk about this. To speculate over who will and won't defy the rule. To ask the owners or front offices how their teams will enforce it. To post on Facebook how they will be boycotting if even one player kneels (or stays in the locker room).

    This solves no problems.

    Neither does kneeling during the national anthem.
