Why don't you apply to become a moderator?

The fact is, folks are looking at people across the political spectrum, and seeking support for these players.

Not supporting them is criticized, in ways both personal and political.

But, if you support the right of these players "to be heard" then you should also support the free speech on college campuses, or else your support isn't pure and honest, it's political.

It's why you've seen so many conservative writers/pundits criticize the NFL since this came out.

And be called no-job-having deadbeats? At least that's what I learn protesters really are from comments sections on articles about women marching, fight for 15 and the like.

Tell me, then, how it is you're so confident that you know exactly why others might find such protests galling. After all, you "haven't lived their lives, the lives of their families, the lives of their friends. You've only lived life through the prism of your eyes."

But, this is no longer about just Colin Kaepernick -- who, in many ways was his own worst enemy.

If the participating players spoke with one voice, with one message, they're cause would be better understood. But, this hasn't been the case.

Holy shit. This same critique applies to the Administration. Common ground!

I know why they find it galling. It is because they are assholes. Have at it, you fucking triggered snowflakes.

Regardless, I never wrote about why the white guys find the protest was galling, per your response. I don't care.

The reason for my response, I quoted it the first time, and I will quote it again for you, is a poster trying to Trumpsplain why the players are protesting.

It's now about standing up to the man -- be it Trump, the league, the team owner, or "white supremacy" in general.

The protest is about the "right to protest" more than it's about the original issue.

Again, I don't give a shit if triggered white guy is upset at the black guys protesting. I do take exception when Trumpfan decides that HE knows why the black guys are protesting.
Trumpfan knows why? OH, THAT IS RICH.

I'm not sure why you're upset.

That the player's message has been muddled is a statement of fact.

Stating that fact doesn't mean I don't understand the original message or goal of the protest.

Funny, its only muddled for let's say, one demographic.

The better question might be, "muddled by whom?"

So, are we in agreement that the message is muddled?
