It's a fake tweet. And there are several others circulating.

But it's not a fake issue. As Speed's question illustrates.

Even as detainees, I'm not sure why children need to be separated from their parents.

 

Not really. Just playing the same old game.

 

And just to avoid the Catechism of What About, let's stipulate that I was asking the same question in 2014.

Why separate kids from their parents, especially the ones seeking asylum?

 

If a divorce was filed for, there has to be a public record. Or maybe that's warming up in the bullpen. And this if true, this is a heck of a backdoor to get at his tax records.

 

I think that if one had been filed, the news would have broken quickly. OTOH, moving back to NY isn't a good sign. I wonder if his not bothering to visit her in the hospital pushed her over the edge, or she just got a bellyful of the payoffs being in the news.

 

Remember how Trump was not going to do any new business overseas, to prevent even the appearance of impropriety?

Personally, I think that's pretty definitely the appearance of impropriety, of the President selling international diplomatic favors for cash.
