Frankly, I think most of the time it's people who already are uptight who just take out their frustrations in the anonymity of an automobile. Hence, all the veins bulging and middle-finger raising at the prospect of . . . getting where they're going 5 minutes later. The horror! These people are annoyed by LIFE.

 

I just got honked at this morning! For apparently not accelerating fast enough upon a light turning green. The guy quickly passed me --- and cut VERY closely in front of me. He then proceeded to turn into his destination about 1000 feet down the road. So I literally delayed him about 6 seconds reaching his destination. THAT'S the Type A personality we're talking about on here.

I always wanted a little message board mounted to the back of my car to send messages to other drivers that could be typed in at stoplights.

I’d be polite.

Like “I’m disappointed in you” or “What would your mother think?” or “You’re a good driver. Kudos” or Careful, man, there’s a beverage here.”

 

Reminds me of the George Carlin bit where he said he wanted the same thing.

"You drive like old people fuck … slow and sloppy."

 

I liked Gallagher's solution .... every driver to be issued a little suction cup dart gun and when someone cuts you off or something you shoot them in the trunk. Then when a cop sees a car go buy without about 10 stickum darts on the trunk he pulls them over and gives them a ticket for being an asshole.
