There's something interesting to be written about loyalty and Trump. The type of loyalty he commands—fear-based, essentially—is worthless in the end. That's why this White House is so defined by its back-stabbing and leaks. Real loyalty, the kind that Obama, whatever you think of him, obviously engendered in his people, is unbreakable.

If I worked for Trump and saw this tweet, I'd be like, fuck that guy. It's stuff like this that leads to never-ending leaks, and he can't see it. He has no one's back, so they don't have his. Loyalty works both ways.

@YankeeFan, as the board's self-appointed chronicler of all things health-related when it comes to First Ladies, I wonder what is your take on why our current FLOTUS hasn't been seen in public since May 10? She was of course hospitalized for five days, during which time her loving and caring husband apparently visited her once (although there's no proof of that, of course). Are you worried about her health, or is your concern only focused on septuagenarians wearing coats in May? Do you think the people who are saying she is recovering from injuries received at the hand of her husband are simply rumor-mongering, or do you think there might be something to that? People are worried about our First Lady. Should they be?
