I promise that everything I described is real. Including the state representative and the nice woman that drops the N word. But pretend this is just business as usual if it makes you feel better.

My area voted for Trump about 60/40. There are many really smart, well educated people that we spend our time with and enjoy immensely. But in my role I meet all types. In fact many/most of my friends are conservative. The majority of these didn't vote for Trump and are appalled.

 

Love it or leave it? I have an 85 yr old mother with memory issues, a home and job. I also have many, many friends that don't support or get off on Trump's disgusting ways. But love it or leave it is your response. Classic.

 

I'm not telling you to leave. I'm asking you why you stay in a place that seems to make you miserable, and where you don't respect your neighbors.

Even a place like Madison, or Milwaukee to a lesser degree, sounds like it would suit you better.

I visit both often. I respect many of my neighbors and actually am proud of some of the improvements to my area.
