I just think it's a character Vince won't let him take to the main roster. It's too different than what they normally do, and they flopped hard when they did something really different with Adam Rose. I think they're gun shy and will see it as one of those characters that works well on NXT but wouldn't work on Raw or Smackdown. I think they'd see Dalton Castle the same way if they signed him, and he's amazing.

I could be wrong. I hope I am. I would love to see Clark take Velveteen Dream to Smackdown or Raw.

Speaking of Velveteen, he sold Richochet's vault out of the ring PERFECTLY last night.

Ricochet is amazing, as I'm sure no one here that's seen him already needs to be told.

I'm hoping they don't paint Ricochet into the cruiserweight corner when they call him up. He has the talent to have some great matches with a lot of the talent on either of the main shows.

I am afraid that is the road they will take with him. Same with Gargango - which I believe would be a huge mistake.

Yes, absolutely. Now granted, I was a huge mark for Tyler Breeze during his NXT days (and still now) so I'm biased given the characters I like, but his spots are amazing. I would recommend watching the six-man ladder match at NXT TakeOver, for starters.

It won't win, but to me that ladder match is the front-runner for match of the year so far. That or Ciampa-Gargano. I can't think of anything from the main roster that has come close to those matches.

I think the street fight between Ciampa/Gargano at NXT Chicago Takeover will top all. That match will be one to remember, in my opinion.

It had the best in-ring storytelling of anything since Bayley and Sasha Banks had their Takedown matches a couple of years ago. But I loved some of the spots in the ladder match. They did some things we haven't seen in ladder matches, which is hard to do these days.

Alright, let’s hear your unpopular wrestling opinion(s).

    Can be from any era.

Honky Tonk Man was a good IC champ.

I'm fine with Cena not having a heel turn now since he's not on my screen each week.

I miss chairshots to the head, although I fully understand why they don't do it anymore.

I liked Wrestlemania II, even though it's not one of the good ones. It was the first Wrestlemania after I became a fan.

I think you are the first person that ‘I know’ to say Honky Tonk was a good IC champ. To know it’s real, let’s hear your three favorite Honky matches.

I think Adam Cole is terrible. And I think HBK and Flair are wildly over rated.
