Saw where Joe Russo confirmed the fan theory that Peter Parker's disappearance lasted longer than the others because his Spidey sense tipped him off that something was happening sooner than the others realized. It sounds like one of those things that they didn't really write it that way, but when the fans suggested it, it sounded good, so they're going with it.

If it was intentional, I think they would have visually tipped off the viewers by showing the hair on his neck stand up or something, like they did earlier in the film.

The 'Avengers: Infinity War' directors confirm a fan theory about one of the movie's saddest deaths

I read that a while ago. It does make sense and I do think you are right, that they are going with the fan theory.

I questioned that when I saw the movie. Thanos said the people he killed would just cease to exist, that it would be instantaneous. Instead, they had time to react briefly, some longer than others. Spider-Man's took the longest, but it seemed like the time varied among many characters. Black Panther's was very quick, while Bucky and Nick Fury had a moment or two to react.

I credited that to server lag. Thanos needs to update the router on his gauntlet.

Thanos could have been wrong. It's not like he had done this before and knew exactly how it would happen. I kind of pictured it as a fast-moving wave washing across the universe. It'll take time to get to everyone, but once it's set in motion you can't stop it.

Hulk is 0-for-3 in his last fights.
Thor kicked his ass in the Grandmaster's arena. The only reason he "won" was in the Grandmaster put Thor down.
Hulk was bitten by Hella's wolf, and literally hung on to defeat it when it over the falls and he clung to a rock.
And then to open Infinity Wars, when Thanos kicked his ass.

Hulk now afraid to come out? Weaker? The wolf's bite penetrated deep into his thigh. When had he ever been cut, slashed or bled previously?

He really couldn't be wrong. With all the Stones, he's basically God. If he wanted them to disappear instantly and that's how he envisioned it, then it would happen that way. This isn't a weapon that goes off a certain way, and maybe it is different than he thinks it would be. The Stones basically serve as an extension of his will and his desires. If he wanted them gone in a snap, they're gone in a snap. If he changed his mind and wants them to dissolve to dust, they dissolve to dust. If he says one thing and in his mind imagines another, well, what he envisions would win out.

Hulk is definitely afraid. I'm thinking we might get some kind of merging of Hulk and Banner in Avengers 4 and get smart Hulk.

I read somewhere that the true power of the time stone is not to bring people back from the past or go into the past, but to see the future and take the right path.

Strange did that. Thanos did not.

I just posted about Ant-Man & Wasp on the movie thread. I'm including some mild spoilers here.

Most of the movie takes place between Civil War and Infinity War. It deals with the fall-out from Scott Lang helping Captain America, then cutting a deal so he can come home. The connection of what happened in Civil War to Hank and Hope Pym is kind of flimsy, but the rest of the story works. I thought it was a lot of fun, every bit as good as Ant-Man. There is a connection to Infinity War. As always with the MCU movies, stay for the credits. All I will say about those is the mid-credits scene is far better than the one at the end.
