I know the list is long, but Pruitt seems like the most flagrantly awful of Trump's appointees. Apart from his various idiocies and scandals, he very clearly doesn't give a shit about the environment he is meant to protect, and the EPA has been decimated. Long term, he's probably doing the most damage. What a bunch of assholes.

Jon Stewart Defends Samantha Bee, Says Outrage Part of a Right-Wing "Game"

I can't believe I'm saying this in 2018, but Jon Stewart is right. Absolute crocodile tears coming from the right about Ivanka and Samantha Bee. It's similar to the Cheneys' outrage over John Kerry mentioning the fact that their daughter was a lesbian in 2004.

Progressives should stop apologizing for controversies the people involved don't really give a shit about.

Was talking about this with a friend the other day. Not singling you out—most of us do it. But why do we say "gay" but "a lesbian"? We would never call a gay man "a gay." Shouldn't it be "she's lesbian"? It's an interesting linguistic quirk.
