    Who's argued that he "should" do it.

    Everyone says he shouldn't. It's almost a unanimous opinion that doing so would result in impeachment and be bad for the country.

    The one question is whether or not he could. People here, and elsewhere say he CAN'T.

    If he can't the constitution would probably say that, since they do list one exception.


    I listed two sources.

    The one you don't like talked to experts, who gave their reasons. If you dispute those reasons, let's hear it.

    The point was, this was discussed prior to the election, in regards to Clinton, and didn't set off bombs and outrage like it did now.


    Newsweek could have worded their tweet ay number of ways. That they used scare quotes was a deliberate choice.

    For a lawyer, you make sappy emotional arguments.

    If you don't think he has the power, tell me why.

    He's granted a power by the constitution. It provides one exception to the power. So, what's the basis to say he does not have the power?
