And well before they adopted their better-known gimmicks. Dibiase was portrayed as a generic, capable tough guy from Memphis. Hogan, who hadn't established himself in the WWF or made a big name for himself at all yet, was largely the same with a bit more showmanship.
It's bizarre to realize nine years later they were feuding over the title as two cartoon characters.

Who did you enjoy more; Muraco or Morales?

I was too young to remember Morales, so I'll go with Muraco. He was one of the first bad guys I kind of liked, just because he seemed like a tough and dangerous SOB.

I know I shouldn't even waste the words when talking about WWE logic, but Dolph and Drew are being made out to be the hot new team, and Dolph gets jobbed out of the battle royal first?

And who did Authors of Pain piss off? Did they fall into the same black hole that Sanity fell into since they got called up to Smackdown,?

    B-team are over right now.

Drew will be fine. He’s going to win a world title soon.

Makes sense, though. Get them out of the way early, since B Team's the focus.

Graves: "Is the ref on Ambien?"

That might not exactly be the best line to say in s company with a longstanding history of drug use.

I guess Muraco, since he was still prominent. Morales was almost done when I started watching.
