It was a direct shot (yet again) at the mod, though. Very blatant, and Whitman's third or fourth shot that day, as I recall.

I didn't see it, but I don't doubt you on that.

I can't decide if Rubio is actually this clueless or if he just slipped a dagger between Trump's ribs. He'll deny that, of course.

I mean, this could be said of both Trump and Trump Jr.

    Yep. That would indeed suck.
Now compare the number of bigoted Democrats to the number of bigots in your tribe.
We'll start with birthers like Newt and Palin and Jefferson Beauregard Secessions XVII and Richard Shelby.
And proceed to Steve King, who routinely touts Nazis on Twitter.
And now GOP Senate nominee Corey Stewart, who is joined by your boy Trump in lamenting the demise of Confederate monuments, which, they say, represent "our history." This, by the way, is a statewide race as opposed to the Congressional district in Minnesota. Mr. Stewart's lamentations about Charlottesville were not about violence and death or Neo Nazis but about the threats to a bunch of statues honoring those who fought against the United States of America in defense of slavery. These men honored in granite are your guy's real patriots. Never mind that they took up arms against the actual United States.
Newt and Palin do not currently hold elected office but have in the past.
Among non-elected officials, your boy in the White House receives counsel from his religious advisory board, which boasts such forward thinkers as Robert Jeffress, who believes Jews and the dictator who killed millions of them are bound for the same place in eternity. Jeffress says says Islam is evil and that Mormonism comes "from the pit of hell." This, mind you, was an official emissary of the Trumpist government on to celebrate the transfer of the American embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. This event so excites the Trumpist religious zealots because, in their mind, it brings us all closer to that sacred, longed-for day when Jews get to pick between turning their backs on their religion and burning for eternity along with the despot who killed millions of their ancestors et al.
Obama distanced himself from the wretched pastor who spouted awful things. Your boy in the White House gives frequent audience to his sycophants in the evangelical community, which boasts about how they get more face time with him than they ever got with anybody else.
Much like the list of current and past office-holders, the list of those not in official governmental positions is abbreviated for length.

Almost forgot great conservative hero Roy Moore, who isn't a friend of the constitutional amendments that liberated slaves or gave them -- horrors! -- the right to vote. And who liked to accost and assault underage girls back in the day.

This twitter thread... Man. Read the whole thread. Three DOJ attorneys resigned over this. They got one who had only been on the job two weeks to sign off on it. They really are going hard after pre-existing condition protections.

Getting rid of coverage for pre-existing conditions is disgusting. This is a losing issue for Republicans and will drive even more people to vote.

    Just plain stupid.

I’m fine with talking to NK. Talking usually isn’t a bad thing, even if it’s all ceremonial. (I’ll avoid the fact that republicans would have shit themselves enough in five seconds to fill an Olympic swimming pool had Obama even suggested this).

But Trump’s fawning over KJU is awful. He tortures and starves his own people. He’s a terrible person.

Trump is an egomaniac and an idiot. I expect nothing less from him. But republicans who are silent on this are worse. They know better. But they are are spineless cowards.

No, it does not bother me at all.

Because it's not what it's claimed to be.

If only @YankeeFan were here to denounce Schumer and the Dems again for being irrational anti-PATRIOTS, lol ...
