I never had a lasting argument in PMs. My experience is mostly like you said — we can have civil conversations in private even if we battle it out on the board.

 

Hell, I can remember a state of the board conversation that 21 was in, with people bemoaning the state of the board without certain posters at that time. Then she left.

The board will be fine.

I read somewhere that they're coming back, because normal social media channels are so awful. I know my posting waned here when I became more active on Twitter. Then I realized that here, at least, I know the assholes.
