I sense a dark storm of whataboutism rolling in today.

 

I cannot believe I live on a planet where canceling silly war games is a serious concession.

 

"silly war games" are actually joint military exercises, because - in the event of a shooting war in Korea - it's going to be important that American and Korean armed forces have some experience working together.

The ROK sent troops to Vietnam and Iraq. They're an actual ally. Oh. ... and defense cooperation with South Korea also means American jobs.

 

This is Trump's America.

 

Our intelligence services are kinda messed up. That worries me more than an occasional bad president.

 

But her emails...

 

Silly war games? Jesus, BTE, that's ridiculous. They fall under the heading of "You sweat now so you don't bleed later". When you are talking about two different countries possibly needing to cooperate, those exercises are how you find and fix problem areas.

 

I'm shocked to learn that American FBI agents had political opinions.
