Nah, man, Romans 13. We know not to question the government's decisions thanks to that verse. It's why we don't complain about Obamacare or gay marriage or anything else.

This right here might be the worst bit of writing in the history of subheads. Only when you read the story can you guess who would be sending the Mexicans, who would be receiving the Mexicans and which president would soon be out of office.

• President Donald Trump told Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe he'd send him "25 million Mexicans" so he'd "be out of office very soon," The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a senior European Union official who was in the room.

 

The administration, and the conservative Christians it panders to, won this issue the first time a reporter asked the press secretary whether or not the Bible supported a U.S. government action.

Now, national policy discussions concern not what is constitutional or what is the law, but interpretations of scripture. Opposing pundits then pile on their own loss by responding with Scriptures the administration should follow instead.

It always made sense that a president such as Trump would push us more quickly towards a theocracy, because such a person would most callously play on the gullible and those who only hear what they want to hear.
