What on earth was that polish defender doing kicking the ball back like that?

 

It was just an unfortunate series of events, really. He wasn't immediately in the play but made a good move to get there, the ref probably moved a smidge too early when Poland was playing it back at almost the same time -- the chances right? -- but Poland definitely doesn't play it back like that if they see the player coming on. Just crazy. Never seen anything like that and surely the ref wants that back.

That polish player is dumb.

 

I agree with this too. He may not have had the awareness with that even if he knew the other player was there or coming on.

 

These refs are having a bad game but Poland finally breaking through. It's probably too late

 

The senegal player had been waved in by the ref. Totally legit. He was standing at midfield.

That is on Poland to not be aware of all 11 players.

 

There's all kinds of fail going on with that play and others. Poland deserves to lose this game but the refs are going to hear about it after this finishes

Yes, must have been falling asleep when saw the highlight Saturday night, didn't remember seeing the PK. Shouldn't that have been a red card.

I am not sure that anything less than a girls U14 team beating Poland in the World Cup qualifies as an upset.
