In the same way Islam is defined in the popular imagination by a handful of extremists.

Which I think is her point.

As to whether or not our national political press can parse the New Testament, maybe Romans 13 isn't a super-duper strategy for governance, either.

Just so long as no blames Hillary. It's everyone else's fault.

The Warf area is Nats Park. To the immediate west is the new Audi Soccer Stadium. It’s the newest Area in DC. And one of the few areas where they tore down everything to put up new buildings. Not rehabbing old buildings. Nothing historic, yet.

Why do Trumpies want to date libtards anyway?? Can't they just continue inbreeding?

The point of the piece was that moderate Christians should renounce Jeff sessions use of Romans 13. Which, hey, we don’t all have national press briefings or Fox News spots to refute Ann Coulter’s horsecrap.

The piece was not about how Muslim moderates shouldn’t be asked to account for extremism.

And, yes, Romans 13 was hideously applied. Unless undocumented Christian immigrants opt for violent insurrection, they’re currently following Romans 13 to a T. They’re embodying it. The government doesn’t use Romans 13. The persecuted do.

The point of these rhetoricals - whether we're talking about Christianity or Islam or Republicans or Democrats - is to ask the same question over and over again.

Why didn't the moderate voices in that tribe do something to stop this?
