    Watched a lot of the show during the first few seasons.
    Hardly ever watch anymore.
    But they seem like decent enough people.

    It’s still rather shitty programming for the HISTORY Channel. It’s a bit of a reach. Next they’ll have some show on ethanol.

    I don't know. If you take away the dumb stuff these types of shows put in to create 'stories' and 'characters' and just focus on the items that come into the shop and the provenance of those items, I think it fits with the brand promise of a channel for history-content/programming.
    In the end, the channel has to program what people will watch. The brand promise is a means to an end, not a binding contract.

    Love the show. Of course it was mostly faked but it was entertaining. I like "Antique Roadshow" as well.
