Now, I think Dave Grohl is one of the coolest guys in rock, but the Foos weren't so thrilled with doing the Carpool Karaoke thing. And Corden wasn't that happy with their lack of thrilldom.

Those few minutes broke a newsroom more than anything else I can remember. There were few people able to function normally upon hearing that.

Budd Dwyer killing himself two blocks away from us registered a fraction of that emotion.

Yeah I’ve started that too. I’ve also started shield season five so that’s going to gobble up a lot of time.

 

I dunno with Westworld. Watched it all the way through, and I suspect it would be better upon a second viewing. But I don't really have the time or desire to watch a 10-plus hour season of TV a second time. I may be out on the show. It's very pretty. But I don't understand half the shit that's going on and find myself a little bored at times.

I didn’t like this season as much as the first. It got very dark and away from baseball. There were a couple great episodes, but overall it’s starting to lose me

 

It was disappointed with the direction they went this season, perhaps because I find the free will/determinism argument largy pointless. The ending left me a little flat.

 

I'm two episodes into second season, and so far, so good.
It'll probably take me the rest of the year to make it through, though.
