OTOH Trump seems impervious to being influenced by facts, analysis, rationally, decorum, civility and comity.
OTOH Trump is the single most political person to serve in public office. He has no core values, shit, he has no values.
His sole motivation is pecuniary and self aggrandizement.

He can be influenced only by money and knowing which is the path of least resistance to his opinion of his popularity. He could easily be the most liberal president ever without breaking a sweat if he thought he could have been a player on the left. Clearly he found little resistance to being a douchebag for right.
