Went to a presidential library this week and it made me wince to see Trump's mug on books, posters et cetera of all the American presidents.

Here’s another hot take on that:

OK. Great. So, which artists, musicians, and poets are eager to appear at the White House, in an effort to make Trump more empathetic?

But with art comes empathy. It allows us to look through someone else’s eyes and know their strivings and struggles. It expands the moral imagination and makes it impossible to accept the dehumanization of others. When we are without art, we are a diminished people — myopic, unlearned and cruel.

Ted Nugent. But even he can't make Fucko look human.

I'll concede your point, though, since this is Fucko's primary connection to the modern art scene ...

Artists were pressured to not appear at Trump's inauguration, and the press made an issue of the inaugural committee's failure to line up any big name performers.

So, what, he's now supposed to invite artists, musicians, and poets to the WH, just so they can make a point of turning him down?

Maybe he should ponder that situation and take a hard look at himself.

I have a hard time seeing anything that he does would help change the way people react to him.
