The Lakers could sell tickets to LeBron vs. LaVar. The first squabble is inevitable, because LaVar. It's where it goes after it happens a couple of times that will get interesting.

We will see how it plays out, but if Lonzo does not have the ball, his value is diminished greatly. James or Lonzo will really need to learn to play without the ball. I know James can if he chooses to. I'm unsure about Ball.

I'm pretty confident in saying the Lakers didn't sign LeBron so he could learn to play without the ball.

Lonzo is maestro'ing the ball. That's what he was born to do. There is no pressure to be a top scorer now.

I dunno but I heard some guru types saying Lonzo would bring the ball up the court which would save some effort and energy from LBJ. Made sense.

I'm amused by this "how will LeBron and LaVar co-exist" chatter. There will be no co-existing. The Lakers will revolve around LeBron and LaVar will be no more than a yapping little Chihuahua. LeBron will not put up with his nonsense for a second. If this deal did anything else, it put an end to LaVar Ball as far as any influence whatsoever on the Lakers. If he doesn't like it I assume he can take his overrated son and shop him to a Bulgarian team.

I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that LeBron wants to play more on the wing anyway.

Agreed. Everything will still go through LeBron, but it would be smart to preserve some of his energy by allowing Lonzo to handle and create, too.

So, providing everyone involved stays healthy, I'm thinking Klay Thompson joins the Lakers this week next year, and then the championship gets won 11 months after that.

If James career moves him to a wing and then the post, he will smash all scoring records.

Kareem night now has about 45,000 total points scored in the NBA (regular and playoffs). James could go over 50,000. He has about 38,000 right now.

    That's crazy.

Why would Thompson leave 30 million in GS to play in LA with LeBron? Why not get the money, the extra year and play with Curry and Durant?
