    Holy shit. That's crazy.

I have no idea how he fits with the Warriors, but I suspect they'll figure it out.

Yeah, just like the Yankees in the 50s, the Steelers in the 70s and the Bulls in the 90s, right?

Boogie was an all-star last year and would have been a first-team center had he not gotten hurt. He took a lesser salary than Rajon fucking Rondo (literally, almost half as much) in order to be the fourth option offensively in a starting lineup that now features FIVE all-NBA players. I didn’t fault Durant, but at some point this shit is too much.

Mid-80s Edmonton Oilers. Gretzky, Kurry, Messier, Coffey, Fuhr...

Why? He's not even going to be healthy until probably December.

It's a great move for Boogie. And remember -- the Warriors were not the best team in the league last year. A healthy Rockets team goes to the finals.

EDIT: Just looked - probably not returning until February.

Please explain to me how these players signing with the Warriors compares to the 50s Yankees.

It's the players exercising control instead of owners and/or GMs.

All the teams I mentioned were dynasties in their times, had great players and, at various times, added to their teams to improve. Is that not the same thing the Warriors are doing? Or are you just mad because your team isn't making bold moves?

Berra, Mantle, Ford, Rizzuto, Bauer were originally signed by the Yankees. Unless I’m missing something, this is nothing like what the Warriors are doing. Not even close.
