Not only that, for the best of the best, they make most of their money elsewhere. What LeBron got paid in Miami probably covered Christmas bonuses for all his people. But he got the title monkey off his back.

Adding Enos Slaughter comes to mind.

But my basic point is, I don't get the hate for the Warriors' moves the last few years. Or are they just supposed to rest on their laurels?

Last time I checked, this is professional sports. It's not oranges slices for everyone where everyone takes turns winning the trophy.

The league has a salary cap.

I think GS might be a fun team to play for. Lord knows your are going to win. You have a coach to sticks up for you outside the basketball world.

Maybe after 80 million, some guys want to win instead of getting their asses kicked five nights a week.

You can’t see the difference, I can’t help you.

I understand the difference. I just don't care. I don't view the Yankees as having some great moral purity that the Warriors are lacking.

The point was, there have always been dominant teams. The manner in which they were assembled means nothing.

It’s not hard. A top 3 and top 10 player signing with the best team in the league. Yankees scouted their players.

I didn't realize Cousins has never played a single playoff game in his career. Damn.

So Cousins is at home in May and June, again, and he is watching the NBA Finals and McGee is getting quality minutes because GS has nothing that resembles a center. You think he doesn't call his agent at some point and tell them that he wants to be the Warrior center?

One of the greatest basketball teams ever assembled needs a center. Badly. Cousins magically is a free agent.

Now instead of selling used cars as his best endorsement (I don't know if this is true, but look at where he has played) he is how one of the members of the Warriors. His face is now known world wide.

I like that he didn't do it for the money.

I’m going to move on. I enjoy your posts PCL, however, your basketball takes are redicilous at times.
