They play an extra 30, not 60.

I'm thinking Forsberg finds the net there even if it doesn't hit the defender's foot. Lot of pace on that shot.

This game is kind of dragging. Although guess can't expect the pace to be like Belgium-Japan.

The keeper would have caught it. It was a strong strike but the keeper read it well and was in position.

Keeper was there waiting for it.

Forsberg almost took out or screened his keeper.

They keep saying how Sweden hasn't advanced in so long, but Switzerland hasn't gone to the quarterfinals
    since 1954.

Belgium is singular. It’s straightforward subject -verb agreement. In American sports, no one talks this way, but when talking about soccer, it comes out because...?

When the Yankees and Red Sox are playing, nobody says “Boston are one out away from getting out of the jam.”

How would they handle ticketing? If you bought a ticket for a game that ended up being replayed, could you use something like a rain check in baseball? Follow the money ...

It's somewhere in our archives, but there was an Aussie Rules Grand Final that ended in a tie about 10 years ago that was replayed a week later.

One of our local sportstalk idiots - who won't talk soccer again for four years - suggested an overtime begin with teams at full strength, but each team loses a player every five minutes. All I could see was players collapsing on the field.
