Motorless parade, nap, minor league baseball and fireworks.

Top nine right now and just throw strikes, pitch.

The annual early July "Hey, fireworks are dangerous and can blow your head off if you're not careful" story is right up there with the Thanksgiving/Christmas "Airport is crowded" and "Traffic is bad" stories on the list of most overplayed recurring local news bits.

It always ends with, “and leave the fireworks to the professionals.” Grates my redneck nerves.

Yeah, fireworks are kinda dangerous. But they are also pretty fucking boring if you aren't setting them off yourself. Pros and cons.

Dad setting off fireworks - cop comes over looking for the source of the fireworks - kid approaches and begs cop not to arrest his dad - mom comes over to drag kid away - hilarious.

This might be Rovell's dumbest tweet ever, which is quite a high bar:

Our dog's 15 years old, and not surprisingly, starting to have some issues.
But one small upside of her increasing deafness was that she wasn't scared at all yesterday. So, that was nice.
