The genius of It might be that all of the scary stuff happens during daylight hours. Was that the way the book was written?

Helicopter Mom comes to terms with her child becoming an adult.

The new wife making a perfect Bao was well timed.

  3. Watched the Last Jedi yesterday. Didn't hate. Didn't love it. Kind of boring and too long ...
Didn't understand a lot of it - probably because it had been so long since I watched the previous installment.

    Looking forward to watching Solo.

Tag. Thought it would just be a goofy summer guilt flick. And it was — for the most part. Ends with a drop kick to the heart. (And Isla Fisher screaming “SUCK MY TINY GINGER BALLS!”)

    Ant Man/Wasp

Rudd is just perfect. Goggins is great. Pena steals every scene. Morrisey makes a slight cameo.

The “truth” serum scene is brilliant. Quality villain. Michelle Pfieffer ages gracefully.

Post credits jacks you up for Avengers Infinity 2.

    Great summer movie.

Is it just one scene during and after the credits?

This is a rare occasion that I'm not seeing one of the Marvel movies opening weekend. Going to have to wait until next Saturday, but I'm very much looking forward to Ant-Man and Wasp.

Two, but the first is the one that people will remember.

The second might give a hint as to a fix for the first, but who knows?

That kind of makes sense. I was guessing the tie-in would be in the credit scenes and that it would tie into the snap. (Obviously, please don't tell me if I'm right about that.)

  9. The Kingsman Golden Circle.
It ain't winning any awards and your suspension of belief has to be pretty liberal, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Agreed. The Kingsman movies are a whole lot of fun.

Three Identical Strangers. It was riveting. A mixture of heartwarming, heartbreaking and infuriating. A true story you really could not make up.

I was a kid (and not an East Coaster) when they became a media sensation. Still, I didn't know a thing about this story. Jaw-dropping.

Baby Driver. Pretty damn pleased with itself, wasn’t it? Cute with the music playing over scene after scene, but, my goodness, what an empty movie. Drive meets Cop Rocks.
