Good points. Id just think WWE and their writers would be better at making it so guys were getting a rub from Hulkster not buried. Then again the way theyve written Angle and Foley before him maybe I shouldnt think that lol

Somehow, I can't imagine Hogan taking a slap from Steph and not atomic dropping her out of the ring.

Based on how the E marked the anniversary of the NWO formation with some pre-Hogan entry highlights ... I don't see the Hulkster doing business with MeekMahan anytime soon. Which is a shame. Dude is a HUGE reason the E exists.

I don't want to see Hogan back unless there's a damn good reason -- celebrating the 40th anniversary of Wrestlemania or something. I damn sure don't want him on regularly. Let the folks that are on the show now get some time. If you want to make someone a GM, figure out how to get Heyman to do it or bring in someone who won't overshadow the wrestlers as much, like Regal in NXT.

Couple of weeks ago someone on Twitter asked Melzter who “should” take the Universal title from Lesnar and he said Rollins. What do you guys think?

    I’m Strowman.

Strowman is No. 1 to me. Rollins would've been great but I think they needed to keep building his win streak. Kinda hard to think a guy who lost to Ziggler would beat the unbeatable Brock Lesnar. Pretty much anyone else on Raw would have to be built up a bunch to be a real contender after they've had Lesnar destroy everyone over and over. I'd love to see Balor get the strap, but I don't see them giving it to him off Lesnar.

For some odd reason, I think it will be Lashley. I have a feeling Bobby will beat Roman at Extreme Rules then move on to face Lesnar at Summerslam and he gets the Universal Title.

I hope that is not the case, though.

I thought Lashley maybe, but I can't stand him. He gets pushed, but he sucks at promos and he can't tell a story in the ring. Of course, the same is true of the current champ, so clearly those aren't priorities.

I've been rewatching the old Tough Enoughs on the network, and amazed how only one winner of 11 in six seasons ever amounted to much (John Morrison). Verdict's out on Matt Cappotelli had he not been diagnosed with cancer.

Then you've got from the rest: Miz, Ryback, Velveteen Dream, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville.

Matt was supposed to debut in WWE and win the Cruiserweight Title but got a concussion from Bob Holly, losing his spot to Jacqueline.
Six months later, Matt and The Miz were supposed to come up together (to form Reality Check) but Matt got injured at an OVW house show.
Matt's third attempt for a debut was cancelled after he took a chair shot. The MRI then revealed he had a brain tumor.

    He could've had a Miz-level career.

With the winners, it always felt like they chose these project guys, except for the first winner (Maven). He had a pretty solid career, considering that he started with major heat because he had like a $250k contract. More often, it seemed like a winner was someone like Andy Levine, who was tall and big and projectable, but not much of a worker. It's kind of akin to how many NBA teams in the 1990s wasted draft picks on project centers.

I remember reading an interview with Taz, who said if he really wanted to, he could have made them all quit within a few days, because that's how wrestling training usually was. But he said the F didn't want him to kill them since it was a show too.

Maybe the training was a little too easy, relatively speaking.
