The Chunnel could get very combative.

At least they win at something.

That two-touch backheel won my heart as well.

If the M’Bappe backheel had worked, best WC goal since Maxi Rodríguez

I missed the game but caught a highlight of it. The announcer (Stu Holden?) who called it “filth of the highest order” cracked me up.

England-France in Russia. What could go wrong?

As for Wimbledon, it wouldn't be in this situation had it not moved back its start by a week a few years ago. Just move it up to noon. It's a once-in-a-half-century situation.

It already F'd tradition by moving the start date. It's like listening to baseball "purists" call on the "traditions" of the game.

Not seeing the result before watching is maybe the greatest accomplishment of my life. Of course, I missed several very important emails and texts.

You know, I was just thinking, if Belgium had lost to England in the group stage... They might have very easily made the final.

Yup. The joke I've heard a lot that England will lose today to have the easier game over the weekend.

That's funny, but, I mean, it was a pretty genius move in hindsight. I'm still completely thrown by a successful England with a competent manager. I'm pretty sure they have to completely fuck it up in some awful way today just to keep the world spinning on its axis properly.
